Job Description

About Company:At Uravu, we are a sustainability-focused company based in Bengaluru. Our mission is to imagine new ways to make human life more sustainable and our communities responsive and resilient. We have developed a patent-pending and award-winning 100% renewable water technology that utilizes inexhaustible atmospheric moisture and only renewable energy to produce high-quality drinking water. Our solution is scalable and can serve industries and communities with their high-quality water needs in a decentralized and carbon neutral manner. We are on a quest to completely rethink how we experience water. How we started:Founded in 2019, Uravu Labs was born out of a shared vision to address water scarcity issues, particularly inspired by the Founders' own experiences in the NIT Calicut campus during their undergrad. Driven by a passion for innovation and sustainability, Uravu Labs embarked on a mission to develop cutting-edge solutions that could extract water from the air using renewable energy sources. The company's journey began with the realization that existing methods, such as conventional atmospheric water generators, were not entirely sustainable due to their heavy reliance on electricity and the use of refrigerants with high global warming potential. Determined to make a difference, the Founders set out to create a solution that would be truly renewable and sustainable. Their dedication led them to explore alternative approaches, resulting in the development of groundbreaking technology that utilises liquid desiccants to produce highest quality and affordable water from the air.The initial success culminated in 2018 when Uravu Labs was recognized as one of the top five global finalists in the prestigious Water Abundance XPRIZE competition. This achievement served as a testament to the company's innovative approach and potential impact. From there, the idea gained significant momentum, propelling Uravu Labs forward on its mission to revolutionize water sustainability.Today, Uravu Labs stands at the forefront of innovation in the field of water sustainability, offering cutting-edge solutions that not only address the immediate challenges of water scarcity but also contribute to a more sustainable future for generations to come.Role OverviewWe are looking for an IP Analyst with 2+ years of experience in intellectual property management, patent prosecution, and IP strategy to join Uravu Labs. You will own Uravu's IP portfolio and strategy from invention capture to patent filing, prosecution, and competitive intelligence.
