The environment is fast-paced, merit-driven, and built around ownership, innovation, and real-time impact.They are looking for a Network Engineer to optimize and maintain a low-latency trading network across data centers and office environments.Role OverviewThis role focuses on ensuring maximum network performance, reliability, and security within a live trading setup. You will work closely with systems and trading teams to deliver resilient, high-performance network solutions in a demanding production environment.Key Responsibilities• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance • Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS • Provide hands-on support for production issues across colo, trading, office, and data center environments • Drive network automation by pushing and updating configurations across infrastructure devices • Support and administer firewall environments • Upgrade network equipment to stable firmware releases • Provide technical support for Linux servers in a live trading environment • Work with multicast routing, PIM, IGMP protocols • Support Linux-based server monitoring, hardware changes, software installations, and upgradesWhat We’re Looking For• Engineering degree in Computer Science (preferred) or related discipline • 2–5 years of relevant experience • CCNP certification • Strong expertise in routing and switching (VLANs, Inter VLAN routing, VTP, STP, EtherChannel, Layer 3, BGP, static and dynamic routing protocols) • Experience with firewalls and security (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) • Expertise with VPNs (IPSec, SSL, Site-to-Site) • Knowledge of Linux and Shell/Python scripting • Exposure to AWS is a plus • Experience with monitoring tools, preferably within financial services • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects • Quick learner with strong problem-solving skillsThis is an opportunity to work in a high-performance trading ecosystem where network performance directly impacts business outcomes.
