Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Sourcing and Procurement professional, located in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves sourcing fresh produce from farmers across India, negotiating procurement contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with market demands. You will also be responsible for evaluating supplier performance, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the optimization of the supply chain. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality and sustainable procurement practices. Qualifications Strong Analytical Skills to assess market trends and supplier performanceExcellent Communication and collaborative skills for effective interaction with farmers, suppliers, and team membersProficiency in Contract Negotiation to establish favorable supplier agreementsExperience in Recruiting and building relationships with supplier networksIn-depth knowledge of Procurement processes and best practicesAbility to adapt in a fast-paced environment and solve problems efficientlyBachelor's/Master's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related fieldsPrior experience in the agricultural industry is a strong advantage
