The role will focus on identifying reliable manufacturing partners, negotiating costs, ensuring quality readiness, and supporting new product development while maintaining cost efficiency, scalability, and supply reliability.This role will work closely with Product, Quality, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure timely and successful launches of furniture and seating solutions aligned with MyFrido’s ergonomic standards.Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Sourcing & DevelopmentIdentify, evaluate, and onboard furniture and chair manufacturers (OEM/ODM) across India and international marketsBuild a robust vendor ecosystem for: Ergonomic office chairsHome seating and functional furnitureWood, metal, plastic, and upholstered furnitureDrive vendor capability mapping, capacity assessment, and long‑term partnershipsCosting & CommercialsLead cost negotiations, RFQs, and price benchmarking for chairs and furniture componentsOptimize BOM costs without compromising on comfort, quality, or design intentSupport annual cost reduction initiatives and volume‑based savingsNew Product Development (NPD) SupportPartner with Product and Design teams during concept finalization, sampling, and pilot productionCoordinate prototyping, sample approvals, and manufacturing feasibility validationsEnsure smooth handover from development to mass productionSupply Planning & ExecutionEnsure timely availability of materials and finished goodsManage lead times, MOQs, and production schedules with vendorsSupport demand planning and scale‑up for fast‑growing SKUsQuality & Compliance CollaborationWork closely with the Quality team to ensure vendors meet Frido quality standardsSupport factory audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with safety, durability, and ergonomic performance requirementsStakeholder ManagementAct as a single point of contact between vendors and internal teamsProvide sourcing inputs for launch timelines, cost structures, and scalabilityPrepare sourcing dashboards, vendor performance reports, and risk assessmentsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Design, or Manufacturing6–10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement of furniture, chairs, or seating productsStrong exposure to: Furniture manufacturing processesMaterials such as wood, metal, plastics, foams, fabrics, and hardwareProven experience in vendor negotiations, costing, and contract finalizationAbility to manage multiple vendors and fast‑paced product launchesStrong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skillsGood to HaveExperience with ergonomic or office furniture brandsExposure to D2C, consumer brands, or retail sourcingFamiliarity with export‑oriented furniture manufacturingUnderstanding of quality standards and testing for furniture productsWhy Join MyFrido?Opportunity to build and scale a high‑impact furniture categoryWork closely with product innovation and leadership teamsHigh ownership and visibility in a fast‑growing comfort and wellness brandBe part of a mission‑driven organization focused on improving everyday livingContact:Rushikesh - rushikesh.m@
