Client and Vendor Contracts Lead This role is integral to ensure that all client and vendor contracts align with the company’s strategic goals and legal requirements, thereby supporting smooth business operations and partnerships. Location: Bangalore (preferred) Designation/Title: Director/ Senior Director Key Responsibilities: 1. Contract Development and Negotiation: o Oversee and participate in the creation, negotiation, and execution of client and vendor contracts to ensure they meet company policies and legal requirements. o Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, operations, and finance, and align contract terms with company strategies and risk management policies. o Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions. 2. Sales Support o Provide solution assistance for identified customers that will help close the sale o Assist with RFP reviews and responses 3. Contact Administration o Ensure contracts meet company standards prior to execution o Maintain and make available contracts in accordance with company procedures 4. Team Leadership: o Lead and manage the contract team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. o Implement and manage contract management tools, systems, and procedures to streamline operations and enhance productivity. 5. Risk Management and Compliance: o Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards. o Facilitate dispute resolution related to contracts, working closely with legal counsel and organization leadership to mitigate risks and protect company interests. 6. Relationship Management: o Develop and maintain relationships with external parties, including clients, partners, and vendors, to ensure favorable contract terms and ongoing business collaboration. o Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters. Qualifications: • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, or a related field is required. Advanced degree preferred. Experience: Overall experience of 10+ years with 3–5 years minimum experience in: • Contract drafting and negotiation revenue cycle management contracts including service level agreements • Technology-enabled healthcare services, especially platforms that automate or optimize billing, coding, and claims processing. Leadership experience: • Managing contract teams • Overseeing cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, and operations Risk and compliance expertise: • Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS regulations, and payer-provider dynamics • Ability to mitigate legal and operational risks through contract design Sales and client-facing experience: • Supporting RFP responses • Negotiating favorable terms with clients and vendors
