Function: Human Resources – Talent AcquisitionVertical: ManufacturingLocation: AhmedabadRole PurposeThe Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for driving end-to-end hiring for the manufacturing vertical, including plant, corporate, and leadership roles. The role requires strong stakeholder management, hands-on recruitment expertise, and the ability to deliver quality hiring at scale in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTalent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningManage end-to-end recruitment for manufacturing plants, including roles across operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, EHS, maintenance, and plant leadershipPartner with business and HR leaders on manpower planning, hiring forecasts, and critical talent needsEnsure timely closure of positions while maintaining quality-of-hire standardsStakeholder & Business PartnershipAct as a trusted recruitment partner to Plant Heads, Functional Heads, and HR Business PartnersUnderstand manufacturing-specific skill requirements and local talent market dynamicsProvide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, and hiring trendsSourcing Strategy & ExecutionDesign and execute sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, referrals, local hiring channels, consultants, ITIs, campuses, and vendor partnershipsBuild strong talent pipelines for critical and niche manufacturing rolesDrive diversity hiring and local workforce hiring initiativesEmployer Branding & Candidate ExperienceStrengthen employer brand at plant and regional levelsEnsure consistent and positive candidate experience across all touchpointsManage offer process, negotiations, and joining formalities in coordination with HR and businessVendor & Cost ManagementManage recruitment vendors and consultants; negotiate terms and monitor performanceEnsure adherence to recruitment budgets and cost optimizationMaintain compliance with hiring policies and audit requirementsData, MIS & Process ExcellenceTrack recruitment metrics such as TAT, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and attrition linkageDrive process improvements, automation, and standardization in recruitmentPrepare hiring dashboards and periodic reports for leadership reviewsKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong understanding of manufacturing hiring and plant environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsHands-on sourcing and closing capabilityAbility to manage high-volume as well as critical niche rolesAnalytical mindset with exposure to recruitment metricsEducation & ExperienceMBA / Post Graduate Diploma in HR or relevant discipline8–12 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant exposure to manufacturing / plant hiringExperience in multi-location or greenfield plant hiring will be an added advantage
