The individual will need to interact with people, organize projects, understand requirements, develop communications, and find creative ways to drive our company goals and focus areas. The candidate should be a strong communicator with prior experience of working in a manufacturing organization, and collaborating with creative agencies, and other vendor partners.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the internal communications team and the other business stakeholders to own the Internal Communications/Engagement calendar for the yearCome up with creative ways for employee engagement throughout the year. Implement all corporate communications activities, working closely with business and functions to develop internal communication narrative aligned with our business goals and valuesCreate compelling, high-quality content across diverse formats: company-wide emails, newsletters, intranet articles, leadership updates, presentations, videos, campaigns, and event materialsIdentify and spotlight stories highlighting employee achievements, customer impact, innovation, and company milestonesWork closely with the leadership team for end-to-end management and delivery of high-impact internal events, such as town halls, leadership messages and other employee engagement activities and company events.Develop communication tactics for workforce in corporate as well as those working on the shopfloorSupport the Employer Branding charter from a communications perspectiveContribute to the development of the internal communications strategy: including positioning, planning, research, along with engagement initiatives that align with business goals, company vision, and valuesAcademic and work qualifications Master’s degree in journalism, Mass Communication or Business AdministrationAround 6 to 8 years of professional experience in communications, with at least 4 years in internal or corporate communications in a mid-to-large global or manufacturing organization.Track record of managing internal platforms/ intranet sites (e.g., SharePoint) and alternative platformsExceptional writing and editing skills with a strong emphasis on quality and attention to detail. Possesses a strong command of the English languageStrong project management skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining qualityStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skills - adept at working with cross-functional, global teams to deliver unified and impactful communications.Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva will be an added advantage
