The role involves identifying security weaknesses, validating risks, and providing actionable remediation guidance to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) for:Web applicationsMobile applications (Android & iOS)Network and infrastructure environmentsPerform manual and automated security testingUse tools such as Burp Suite, Nessus, Nmap, Metasploit, Acunetix, OWASP ZAPIdentify, validate, and document security vulnerabilitiesPrepare detailed VAPT reports including risk ratings and remediation stepsSupport re-testing and validation of fixesFollow security standards such as OWASP Top 10, SANS, CVSSCollaborate with internal teams and clients during assessmentsRequired Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related fieldStrong understanding of web application security conceptsHands-on experience in penetration testingKnowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, SSL/TLSFamiliarity with Linux and Windows environmentsBasic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)Preferred CertificationsCEH, eJPT, GWAPT, OSCP (preferred but not mandatory).
