Established to bridge the gap between research and policy implementation in health, nutrition, and sustainable food systems, Anuvaad works closely with the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoWCD) to advance the Poshan agenda and strengthen nutrition outcomes for women and children across India through research-informed strategy and on-ground program support.We’re Hiring |Senior Manager-Public Health Nutrition, Anuvaad Solutions Location: New Delhi Position Type: Full-time (5 days/week) Start Date: Immediate Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Manager-Public Health Nutrition with a strong grounding in Public Health Nutrition and/or Health Systems Strengthening and a demonstrated ability to generate actionable insights for government programmes. The role involves policy research, development of high-quality knowledge products, and evidence translation to support programmatic improvements across ICDS and POSHAN 2.0. Key Responsibilities: 1. Policy Research & Technical Analysis: • Technical analysis on ICDS, Supplementary Nutrition Programme, and POSHAN 2.0 including programme reviews, comparative analyses, and assessment of national/state guidelines. • Prepare policy briefs, technical notes, and presentations for central and state-level stakeholders. • Analyse government documents, datasets, and implementation frameworks to generate evidence-based recommendations. 2. Development of Knowledge & Training Products: • Design and develop training modules, job aids, IEC material, and digital content for AWWs, supervisors, CDPOs, and other ICDS stakeholders. • Create easy-to-understand content that translates technical guidance into actionable steps for the frontline workforce. • Ensure all outputs align with POSHAN 2.0 guidelines, Anganwadi processes, and programmatic priorities. 3. Evidence Translation & Health-Nutrition Systems Data Analysis: • Translate scientific literature, evaluation findings, and research into practical insights to guide policy action and programme strengthening. • Analyse available health and nutrition systems data to identify gaps, opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Support development of knowledge products, best-practice briefs, and programmatic recommendations based on data-driven insights. • Undertake need-based field visits for validation and contextual understanding when required. 4. Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement: • Documentation of best practices from the field and engagement with development partners and implementing agencies. • Participate in technical meetings, consultations, and workshops to provide analytical and content-development support. Required Qualifications & Experience Education • Master’s degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Nutrition Science and Healthcare Management or related fields. Work Experience • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in public health, nutrition research, or large-scale government programmes. • Strong preference for candidates with experience working with ICDS/Poshan 2.0/Health systems strengthening at the central or state level. • Demonstrated experience in analysing health systems data. • Candidates with good experience in consulting and management field will also be considered. Skills & Competencies • Solid understanding of Public Health Nutrition, and frontline service delivery workflows. • Strong writing and communication skills for technical and government-facing outputs. • Ability to interpret research and health systems data and convert insights into practical recommendations. • Collaborative working style with readiness for occasional short field visits.
