The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance processes. Daily tasks include performing inspections and tests to ensure product and process compliance, monitoring and reporting on production quality, and collaborating with teams to enhance product reliability. The role also involves identifying areas for process improvements and ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.Experience in Quality Engineering, including the application of engineering principles to improve quality standards and processes.Proficiency in Quality Control techniques, including inspections, measurements, and testing to ensure product conformity.Knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, such as monitoring compliance and preventing defects throughout the production process.Understanding of Product Quality and its impact on performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.Strong skills in Quality Management, focusing on continuous improvement, process discipline, and adherence to industry standards.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues.Familiarity with ISO standards or similar certifications is an advantage.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience Minimum 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in appliances, electrical, and electronics manufacturing.Skill Sets & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and industrial processes in electronic appliances manufacturing.Expertise in international certifications and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, CE, RoHS, UL, BIS).Analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to train, mentor, and develop quality teams.Strong documentation, audit, and compliance management skills.Customer-oriented mindset with ability to handle audits and quality-related discussions.Specific ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain quality management systems across the organization.Develop and monitor quality plans, SOPs, and inspection procedures for new and existing products.Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and compliance checks with ISO and other certifications.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for electronic appliances (safety, performance, environmental).Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.Lead value engineering initiatives to improve product quality and reduce defects.Coordinate with production teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specifications.Translate customer requirements into quality standards and ensure implementation.Monitor and report quality KPIs, prepare MIS reports, and present findings to management.Organize training programs for quality awareness and skill development of the team.Engage with customers for quality-related discussions, audits, and approvals.Ensure timely communication with customers regarding quality status, certifications, and compliance.Identify risks in processes and implement preventive measures.Collaborate with senior management to align quality objectives with organizational goals.Prepare annual quality budget (Capex and Opex) for equipment, certifications, and training.Reports To: Technical DirectorCoordinates With:Internal: Production, Procurement, Sales, Service TeamsExternal: Customers, Certification Bodies, Regulatory Authorities, VendorsSalary: As per knowledge and experience.Location: SanandEmail I'd: hr@
