Job Description

Role OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Modular Kitchen Designer to handle end-to-end design execution — from design development and quotation preparation to site validation, vendor coordination, quality checks, and final handover. The role requires strong technical accuracy, client coordination, and production understanding to ensure seamless execution of high-end modular projects.Key Responsibilities                                           Design and Quotation:Prepare modular kitchen and wardrobe designs as per CAD inputs and client selections.Develop accurate quotations and BOQs; apply markups as guided by sales.Create 3D renders when required for client visualization.Create detailed working drawings and production drawings.Site Survey and Validation:Conduct site surveys after order confirmation to take initial measurements and validate site conditions.Conduct site measurements and validate dimensions before order placement.Ensure site surveys are completed as per the defined checklist.Identify and flag major deviations in sizes, layout, or specifications and revise designs and quotations accordingly.Client Coordination and Documentation:Communicate final sizes, finishes, hardware, and material specifications to clients.Finalize finishes, hardware, materials, and specifications with written client approvals.Obtain written confirmation from clients on all selections, specifications, and changes.Ensure all verbal discussions or changes are documented, approved, and recorded.Order Processing and Vendor Coordination:Coordinate with the accounts team to verify payment milestones before order processing.Place accurate orders with vendors after internal approval.Verify order accuracy jointly with the immediate supervisor before final submission.Order Tracking and Escalation:Track production timelines and escalate delays proactively.Conduct pre-dispatch quality checks at vendor/warehouse locations.Monitor timelines, specifications, and quality commitments.Coordinate installation scheduling and support installation teams with approved drawings.Perform final QC at the site and ensure client sign-off during handover.Qualifications:Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field0-3 years of experience in modular kitchen or wardrobe designExperience coordinating with vendors and production teams preferredSkills & Competencies·       Strong understanding of modular kitchen and wardrobe systems·       Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max or equivalent)·       Ability to prepare detailed working drawings and production drawings.·       Strong understanding of modular construction, hardware systems, and material specifications.·       Knowledge of kitchen ergonomics and space planning principles.·       Attention to detail and high accuracy in measurements and BOQs·       Good communication and documentation skills·       Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholdersProblem-solving mindset and proactive escalation
