This role is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving technology risk management and control frameworks across enterprise IT, connected vehicle platforms, cloud environments, and digital products.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnology Risk & Control Leadership• Design, implement, and enhance enterprise technology control frameworks aligned to SOC 2 Type II, ISO/IEC 27001, SOX ITGC, and secure SDLC.• Drive continuous improvement of technology risk management across IT, manufacturing systems, cloud platforms, and connected product ecosystems.• Identify control gaps, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely remediation.Compliance & Assurance• Lead SOC 2 Type II readiness, execution, control design, evidence management, and external auditor coordination.• Maintain and support ISO 27001 certification, including assessments, internal audits, and surveillance audits.• Oversee SOX ITGC and application controls for public.Audit & Assessment Management• Act as the primary liaison for internal/external auditors across SOC, ISO, SOX, and customer audits.• Reduce audit fatigue through standardized documentation, centralized evidence repositories, and automation.Secure SDLC, Cloud & Product Assurance• Embed security and compliance controls into SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.• Provide oversight across cloud platforms, SaaS environments, data pipelines, and APIs.• Evaluate third party and supplier technology risks across software, infrastructure, and manufacturing systems.Incident, Resilience & Operational Risk• Support incident analysis, root cause reviews, and corrective action tracking.• Provide assurance for business continuity, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience testing.Governance & Reporting• Oversee governance for deficiencies, findings, and risk issues, ensuring remediation through validation and closure.• Develop clear dashboards and executive level risk and compliance reporting.Stakeholder Leadership• Partner closely with Engineering, IT, Security, Legal, Privacy, Manufacturing, and Compliance teams.• Lead and mentor high-performing risk and controls professionals.• Influence effectively in a fast-paced, product-driven environment while maintaining strong control discipline.QualificationsEducation• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.• Master’s degree in Management, Technology, or related discipline (preferred).Experience• 10+ years in Technology Risk, IT Controls, Compliance, or IT Audit.• Hands-on leadership of SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 programs.• Experience supporting SOX ITGC in public, or large enterprise settings.• 5+ years of people leadership.• Background in cloud-first, product-centric.Technical & Professional Skills• Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, SOX ITGC/ITAC, secure SDLC, and cloud controls.• Experience with GRC tools, audit management systems, and evidence automation.• Ability to translate compliance requirements into scalable, engineering-friendly controls.• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive-level presence.Key Competencies• Technology Risk & Control Framework Design• SOC 2 & ISO 27001 Program Leadership• SOX ITGC & Application Controls• Secure SDLC & Cloud Risk Management• Audit & Assessment Coordination• Incident & Operational Risk Assurance• Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Management
