Senior Avionics Hardware Engineer (13–15 Years)Location: Bangalore (Offshore)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Avionics Hardware Engineer with strong expertise in high‑speed digital design, FPGA/SoC-based architectures, and avionics communication protocols. The ideal candidate will have 13–15 years of experience in complex hardware design for aerospace applications, including architecture definition, schematic design, multilayer PCB development, and system-level validation.This role requires deep technical knowledge coupled with the ability to produce detailed documentation, perform design analysis, and drive test planning activities.Key ResponsibilitiesHardware Design & DevelopmentDesign and develop high-speed digital boards including DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 memory interfaces.Define and implement FPGA/SoC-based architectures and associated interfaces.Perform multilayer PCB design, layout reviews, and signal/power integrity analysis (SI/PI).Develop analog and digital circuits, including power management solutions (AC‑DC, DC‑DC converters).Avionics Domain ExpertiseDesign, integrate, and troubleshoot systems using avionics communication protocols such as:UART, CAN, I2CARINC 664, ARINC 429, ARINC 717RS485, RS232MIL‑STD‑1553Technical Documentation & AnalysisCreate detailed technical documentation, architecture and design specifications.Perform design analysis, component selection, and validation planning.Prepare test requirements, test plans, and support qualification activities as needed.CollaborationCoordinate with cross‑functional engineering teams.Work closely with deployment and project management teams to ensure on-time delivery.Support offshore delivery requirements.Required Skills & Experience13–15 years of relevant experience in avionics hardware design.Strong expertise in:High‑speed digital board designDDR3/DDR4/DDR5 interface integrationFPGA/SoC platformsSI/PI simulation toolsPower electronics (AC‑DC, DC‑DC converters)Hands‑on experience with avionics communication protocols.Excellent documentation and analytical skills.Ability to work independently in an offshore environment.
