Program Head / Director – Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML)Position OverviewAccurate Group of Institutions is seeking a visionary and dynamic academic leader to head the Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML) program. The Program Head / Director will be responsible for the overall academic, research, laboratory development, innovation ecosystem, industry collaboration, and strategic growth of the AI & ML department.The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership experience, preferably from a reputed Engineering College, with exposure to AI/ML program development, NBA/NAAC/AICTE compliance, lab establishment, and industry-driven curriculum design.Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership & Curriculum DevelopmentDesign and continuously upgrade AI & ML curriculum aligned with:NEP guidelinesAICTE / UGC normsGlobal AI advancementsIndustry 4.0 and 5.0 requirementsIntroduce emerging subjects such as:Generative AILarge Language Models (LLMs)AI Ethics & GovernanceEdge AIAI in Business ApplicationsEnsure Outcome-Based Education (OBE) implementation.Lead accreditation readiness (NBA/NAAC documentation if applicable).2. AI Lab Formation & Infrastructure DevelopmentConceptualize, design, and establish a state-of-the-art AI & ML Lab.Recommend hardware & software infrastructure including:GPU-enabled systemsAI servers / cloud-based architectureData analytics and deep learning frameworksSimulation & real-time AI toolsDevelop strategic partnerships with:Technology companiesCloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)AI startups and research organizationsEnsure lab utilization for:Student capstone projectsSponsored researchHackathons & innovation challenges3. Faculty Recruitment & DevelopmentRecruit qualified faculty specializing in AI, ML, Data Science, and emerging technologies.Conduct Faculty Development Programs (FDPs).Encourage research publications, patents, and consultancy projects.Mentor faculty for academic excellence and industry certifications.4. Industry Collaboration & InnovationEstablish MoUs with leading AI organizations and corporates.Facilitate internships, live projects, and industry mentorship.Organize AI conferences, tech fests, guest lectures, and hackathons.Promote incubation and startup development in AI domain.5. Research & Innovation EcosystemBuild a strong research culture in AI, ML, Data Science, Automation, and Robotics.Guide students in research publications and patent filing.Secure funded research projects and grants.Lead the establishment of an AI Research & Innovation Centre (if planned).6. Student Development & Academic ExcellenceEnsure high-quality academic delivery.Develop industry-recognized certification pathways.Mentor students for placements in AI/ML roles.Encourage participation in national and international AI competitions.7. Strategic Planning & BrandingPosition Accurate Group of Institutions as a leader in AI education in NCR.Contribute to marketing materials, placement brochures, and digital branding.Represent the institute at academic and industry forums.8.
