Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance Ratio (PR) Tracking: Monitor and analyze the PR and Capacity Utilization Factor (CUF) for MW-scale plants, ensuring they meet contractual obligations.Deep Data Analytics: Use Python, R, or advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets to analyze large datasets from SCADA systems to identify degradation trends or equipment underperformanceLost Energy Attribution: Calculate energy losses specifically due to grid downtime, clipping, soiling, and thermal effects to provide a clear /"Actual vs. Theoretical/" generation gap analysis.Forecasting & Modeling: Use PVSyst or Meteonorm data to create generation forecasts and compare real-time data against weather-adjusted benchmarks.Soiling Analysis: Analyze soiling losses to optimize cleaning cycles for MW-scale sites, balancing cost vs. generation gain.Reporting: Prepare high-level technical reports for stakeholders, highlighting monthly generation health and proposing corrective actions for system-level inefficiencies.Qualifications and SkillsEducation: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or Renewable Energy.Experience: Minimum 7 years, specifically in solar data analytics or performance engineering for MW-scale plants.Software Proficiency: Expert level in MS Excel and SCADA systems.
