Role Overview We are looking for a versatile and highly creative Product Designer to join our team. You aren’t just a /"wireframe person/" or a /"graphic person/"—you are a visual storyteller who understands that a great product requires both seamless functionality and breathtaking aesthetics. In this role, you will own the entire design lifecycle. One day you’ll be mapping out complex user journeys in Figma; the next, you’ll be creating custom illustrations, designing marketing collateral, or breathing life into the interface with sleek animations. Key Responsibilities ● UX/UI Design: Lead the end-to-end design of web and mobile interfaces, from initial discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes. ● Visual & Graphic Design: Create a cohesive visual language for the brand. This includes designing marketing assets, social media graphics, and internal brand materials. ● Illustration & Iconography: Develop custom illustration libraries and iconography that give our product a unique, /"premium/" feel. ● Motion & Animation: Use motion to improve the user experience (micro-interactions) and create engaging video/GIF content for product launches. ● AI Driven Workflow: Integrate AI tools into your daily workflow to generate concepts, placeholder content, and high-fidelity assets (icons, backgrounds, UI elements). ● System Thinking: Build and maintain a scalable Design System in Figma to ensure consistency across all platforms. ● Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and pixel-perfect upon implementation. The Must-Haves (Technical Skills) ● Figma Mastery: You live and breathe Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Prototyping). ● Full-Stack Visuals: Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects). ● UI/UX Fundamentals: A deep understanding of user psychology, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design. ● Motion Design: Ability to create functional animations that guide users and /"delight/" animations that build brand personality. ● Artistic Flair: Strong traditional design skills—typography, color theory, and layout composition. Soft Skills ● Adaptability: You can switch gears between a data-heavy dashboard and a creative brand campaign without missing a beat. ● Communication: You can articulate the why behind your design decisions to stakeholders. ● Ownership: You take pride in /"pixel perfection/" and don't wait for a checklist to find areas for improvement. Bonus Points ● Experience with 3D design tools (Spline, Blender). ● Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (you don't need to code, but you speak the language). ● Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
