Company DescriptionDELAN is a premium women’s westernwear brand built for modern Indian women who value confidence, comfort, and elevated style.Our design language is clean, contemporary, and timeless—focusing on sharp silhouettes, flattering fits, rich fabric choices, and refined details.At DELAN, every piece is designed with intention—FOR THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER.From everyday essentials to statement looks, we create collections that feel effortless yet premium, made for women who want to look polished without trying too hard.We’re a fast-growing brand and we’re building a team that can take our collections to the next level—stronger design, stronger product storytelling, and world-class execution.Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a Senior Fashion Designer who can own end-to-end design for women’s westernwear—from trend research to final sampling—while ensuring strong commercial appeal and premium finishing.You will play a key role in shaping DELAN’s collection direction, developing signature silhouettes, and maintaining consistent brand quality across all launches.QualificationsLead seasonal collection development (concept → moodboards → sketches → tech packs → sampling → final range)Build strong design stories: themes, color palettes, fabric direction, prints, trims, and stylingDesign westernwear categories like dresses, co-ord sets, tops, shirts, trousers, denim, outerwear (based on brand need)Create CADs, flats, measurements, and detailed tech packs for productionCoordinate with pattern masters, sampling, merchandising, and production for on-time outputsOwn fit, finish, and quality: trials, corrections, approvals, final sign-offTrack sales insights & customer feedback to improve future collectionsSupport brand team with newness ideas, styling direction, and product presentation inputsRequired Skills:Strong understanding of women’s westernwear silhouettes, fits, and fabric behaviorExcellent knowledge of garment construction, trims, prints, and finishingHands-on experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop for CADs & flatsStrong capability in tech pack creation and guiding sampling accuratelyVendor/sourcing understanding for fabrics and trims (India market advantage)Ability to design with premium positioning + commercial practicalityExperience and Qualification:5–8+ years in women’s westernwear fashion design (brand/retail/export house)Experience with Indian sampling/manufacturing units is a plusDegree/Diploma in Fashion Design preferredWhat we are looking for:A designer who balances creativity + commercial thinkingStrong eye for premium detailing, fit, and finishingOwnership mindset, speed, and clarity in communicationSomeone excited to build a brand, not just design productsHow to ApplySend your CV + Portfolio to: delanhr@Subject: Senior Fashion Designer – DELAN – FaridabadInclude: Current CTC | Expected CTC | Notice period | Portfolio link/PDF
