The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level financial planning and daily execution. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our dual-country financial records, managing cross-border compliance, and driving efficiency using QuickBooks and Zoho Books/Finance Suite.Primary Responsibilities:Dual-Entity Accounting: Manage the full-cycle accounting process for both US and India operations, ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closings.Hands-on Systems Management: Act as the primary administrator and power user for QuickBooks Online (US) and Zoho Books (India), ensuring seamless data flow and integration between platforms.Cross-Border Compliance: Ensure adherence to US GAAP and Indian Accounting Standards (AS/Ind AS), including GST filings, TDS, and US Nexus/1099 requirements.Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements and provide monthly variance analysis to bridge the performance of both regions.Cash Flow & Payroll: Oversee multi-currency accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll processing for employees in both the US and India.Audit & Tax Support: Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants in both jurisdictions to ensure timely filings and statutory compliance.Required Experience, Skills and QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA inter-qualified preferred).Software Expertise: Deep, hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Zoho is mandatory. Power user of Microsoft Excel is a must.Experience: 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity handling international entities.Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of US-India intercompany transactions, transfer pricing basics, and currency fluctuations.Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders in both North America and South Asia.What Makes You a Great Fit?You don't just /"review/" the books; you enjoy getting into the software to ensure they are built correctly.
