Job Description

Established in 2014, Path Law Group is a boutique immigration firm focused on employment-based immigration law. Our firm is growing rapidly and we have an immediate opening for an Immigration Paralegal and Case Specialist. This position will be responsible for a full caseload, including NIWs, O-1s, EB-1s, E-2s, H-1Bs, PERMs, and green cards.Key Responsibilities:Independently manage a large caseload while liaising with inter-firm teams in order to ensure efficiency and stellar quality of work.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after onboarding, handling logistical communications, document tracking, and deadline coordination.Collect and organize supporting documentation from clients, following up consistently to keep the case on schedule.Maintain accurate records in the case management system, including file uploads, case status updates, and due dates.Coordinate internally with team members to relay client updates, flag missing materials, and keep the case moving.Can make independent decisions related to client follow-ups, reminders, and file tracking.Escalates client concerns, delays, or evidence-related issues to the paralegal or attorney.Maintain appropriate records and carry out consistent case tracking and management as per firm policies.Accurately assess client documents and evidence for their relevance and merits to the client's case.Strong communication skills; comfortable handling high volumes of email correspondence.Highly organized with experience using immigration case management platforms.Ability to multitask and maintain poise in client-facing interactions.The ideal candidate will have a very strong attention to detail, think critically, manage a complex caseload, and prioritize important tasks with minimal oversight.Must have at least two (2) years of immigration experience with E-2s, O-1s, NIWs, and EB-1As.
