Based in SF and Hyderabad, we are a young, fast-moving team on a mission to build AI for Good, driving innovation and positive societal impact.About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly knowledgeable Chemistry Expert to contribute domain expertise in reviewing, validating, and enhancing chemistry-related content. The role involves analyzing complex chemical concepts, solving advanced problems, and supporting AI model training or research initiatives through accurate scientific evaluation.This position is ideal for candidates with strong theoretical foundations and practical understanding across core chemistry domains.ResponsibilitiesReview and annotate AI-generated chemistry explanations, solutions, and scientific reasoning across organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry.Evaluate AI outputs for conceptual accuracy, chemical validity, balanced equations, and adherence to scientific principles.Identify incorrect assumptions, flawed calculations, or misinterpretations in chemical reactions, mechanisms, and problem-solving steps.Provide structured, domain-specific feedback to improve the model’s understanding of modern chemistry concepts and academic standards.Assess prompts related to molecular structure, reaction pathways, stoichiometry, spectroscopy, thermodynamics, and laboratory practices.Validate AI-generated diagrams, nomenclature, safety guidelines, and chemical property descriptions for correctness.Suggest improvements to scientific explanations, ensuring accuracy, depth, and proper chemical notation.RequirementsBachelor’s / Master’s / PhD in Chemistry or related field.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.Experience in research, tutoring, content development, or technical review is preferred.Familiarity with scientific tools and databases is an advantage.Why Join Us?Work on high-impact projects that contribute to building AI for Good.Collaborate with top-tier engineers and domain experts from IITs, NITs, and BITS.Opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.NOTE: This will be a flexible freelancing opportunity.
