Manager- Cost & Management AccountantPosition Title: Manager- CostingDepartment: FinanceLocation: PCMCCompany: FridoQualification: CMA (Preferred)Industry: ManufacturingRole Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accountant Manager to oversee product costing, inventory valuation, and cost control across our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in improving cost efficiency, supporting strategic decision-making, and strengthening financial controls.Key Responsibilities:Costing & AnalysisPrepare and maintain accurate product costing, including BOM, labor, and overhead allocationAnalyze standard cost vs actual cost and report variances with reasons.Monitor Material Consumption, wastage, and yield against norms.Support monthly cost closing and MIS reporting.Inventory & Manufacturing FinanceEnsure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation with financial recordsMonitor WIP, finished goods, and raw material costsPartner with production and supply chain teams to ensure cost efficiency and controlReview and validate manufacturing overhead absorptionFinancial Reporting & ControlsSupport monthly closing activities, including cost provisions and journal entriesPrepare cost reports, MIS dashboards, and margin analysisStrengthen internal controls related to costing and inventoryEnsure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirementsBusiness PartneringCollaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and product teams on cost optimization initiativesProvide insights to leadership on cost trends, profitability, and efficiency improvementsRequired QualificationsCMA qualification (Preferred)5–10 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing is mandatory.Strong knowledge of:Standard costing and variance analysisInventory accountingManufacturing financeExperience working with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / NetSuite preferred)Advanced Excel and financial modeling skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in consumer products, D2C, or product-based manufacturingExposure to cost optimization and process improvement initiativesStrong analytical and stakeholder management skillsInterested people can reach out at arif@ and shubham.somalkar@
