Job Description

The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing important pharma client accounts in AAK India.. KAM will be the lead point of contact for all key client matters, anticipate the client’s needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and help the client succeed. The KAM will also bring in new business from existing clients or contacts and will develop new relationships with potential clients. The KAM will be responsible for enhancing our share of wallet and thus increasing our market share. He/ She will ensure the complete management of customer driven projects.Roles and Responsibilities:Develop and manage key customer accounts, understand customer needs through regular customer visits to ensure customer value is achievedGrow and develop AAK’s customer base to increase business opportunityPut together a plan to leverage existing and future business opportunitiesEstablishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the clientNegotiating contracts with key clients and meeting established deadlines for the fulfillment of each client's long-term goals.Periodically resolve key client issues and complaintsCollaborating with relevant internal cross functional teams to ensure key client’s needs are met.Ensure accuracy of forecast by using key account metrics.Monitor and report pharma market information to present to key stakeholdersParticipate in tender negotiations with key clientsEnsure Full Compliance of the EHS Requirement in the area under control and provide appropriate EHS reports
