The ideal candidate will have strong automation experience with Cypress, knowledge of Agile methodologies, and the ability to take ownership of release sign-offs. You'll be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test automation suites, ensuring product quality, and working closely with development teams in an Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation scripts using CypressCreate and maintain test plans, test cases, and test execution documentationCollaborate with development and QA teams in an Agile environment to understand product requirements and translate them into test casesIdentify test automation opportunities and implement automation frameworksMaintain and enhance existing test automation suitesPerform API testing using REST APIs and relevant toolsAnalyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issuesResponsible for release sign-off and ensuring quality gates are metWork with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testsCollaborate with the team to improve test processes and methodologiesLeverage AI coding tools to improve testing efficiency and code qualityEssential Requirements3+ years of experience in QA automation testingStrong proficiency in Cypress for test automationExperience in developing and executing automation test scriptsKnowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile/Scrum teamsExperience with REST API testing and tools (Postman or similar)Understanding of SaaS systems and web application testingKnowledge of software testing methodologies and best practicesAbility to write clean, maintainable, and efficient test codeExperience creating test plans and test execution documentationQuick learner with ability to adapt to new technologies and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDesirable RequirementsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)Knowledge of AI coding tools and assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar)Experience in automating Desktop/WPF applicationsExperience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)Knowledge of API testing tools like Rest AssuredExperience with performance and load testingKnowledge of insurance or financial services domainExperience with version control systems (Git, Azure Repos)ISTQB or similar QA certificationTech StackCypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, Postman, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), Agile/Scrum, Git, Azure Repos, AI Coding Tools, BDD (Cucumber/SpecFlow), SaaS Applications.Benefits33 days paid holiday, competitive compensation, hybrid work (3 days/week in office)High-growth insurtech environment with clear career development pathCompetitive salaryCheck us out on -
