Quarter-End & Year-End CloseParticipate in and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortization, depreciation, and reclassificationsEnsure timely and accurate close in accordance with established close calendarsMaintain accuracy and completeness of financial recordsU.S. GAAP Financial ReportingPrepare and support U.S. GAAP–compliant financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)Ensure proper period recognition of revenue and expensesSupport preparation of management and external reporting packagesAccrual Accounting & Cash-to-Accrual ConversionRecord and maintain accrued expenses, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and other accrual-based entriesAssist in or independently perform conversion of cash-basis financials to accrual-basis financialsMaintain roll-forward schedules for accrual-related accountsEnsure accurate cutoff and matching of revenues and expensesAccount ReconciliationsPrepare and maintain bank reconciliationsPerform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling itemsSupport or manage inter-company / brother-company reconciliationsInvestigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actionsAccounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (AR/AP)Support AR and AP processes including invoicing, collections support, vendor payments, and reconciliationsReconcile AR and AP subledgers to the general ledgerMonitor aging reports and assist in resolving outstanding balancesEnsure accurate cutoff and period-end recognitionFixed AssetsMaintain fixed asset schedules and registersRecord asset additions, disposals, transfers, and impairmentsCalculate and post monthly depreciationReconcile fixed asset balances accounting issues independentlyAdvanced Accruals & Technical Accounting (Senior Level)Own complex accruals, estimates, and judgment-based entriesEvaluate accounting treatment under U.S. GAAPSupport revenue recognition and deferred revenue accountingOversee cash-to-accrual conversions for complete financial statementsVariance Analysis & Financial Analysis (Senior Level)Perform month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, and budget vs. actual variance analysisIdentify trends, anomalies, and key drivers behind financial resultsPrepare clear explanations for management and stakeholdersSupport decision-making through analytical insightsBudgeting, Forecasting & FP&A SupportPartner with FP&A on annual budgets, forecasts, and re-forecastsSupport financial modeling and projectionsAnalyze actual degree in Accounting, Finance Staff Accountant1–3 years of accounting experience (public or industry)Foundational knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principlesSenior Staff Accountant4–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceProven ownership of month-end close and financial reportingExperience reviewing work and mentoring junior staffPreferred QualificationsCPA or CA eligiblePublic
