Based in SF and Hyderabad, we are a young, fast-moving team on a mission to build AI for Good, driving innovation and positive societal impact.About the Role:As a Historical / Cultural Research Annotator, you will support the training and evaluation of advanced AI systems by reviewing, annotating, and validating historical and cultural research content. This role requires strong grounding in historical methods and cultural analysis to ensure AI-generated outputs are factually accurate, contextually grounded, and sensitive to temporal, regional, and cultural nuances. You will work with primary and secondary sources to improve AI understanding of historical events, cultural practices, and interpretive frameworks.Responsibilities:Analyze historical narratives, timelines, and cultural explanations.Check claims for factual accuracy and contextual grounding.Annotate and label historical and cultural research questions, narratives, summaries, and analytical responses for AI training.Review and validate AI-generated content related to world history, regional histories, cultural traditions, and intellectual movements.Evaluate historical reasoning for chronological accuracy, source reliability, and contextual consistency.Identify and tag errors such as anachronisms, factual inaccuracies, oversimplifications, or misinterpretation of sources.Skills & Experience Required:BA/MA in History, Anthropology, Cultural Studies, or Humanities.Strong skills in analyzing historical sources and narratives.Ability to identify context mismatches and reasoning flaws.Excellent attention to evidence quality and source integrity.strong in narrative reasoning & evidence evaluation.Why Join Us?Work on high-impact projects that contribute to building AI for Good.Collaborate with top-tier engineers and domain experts from IITs, NITs, and BITS.Opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.NOTE: This will be a flexible freelancing opportunity.
