You will not just /"manage/" HR; you will build the engine that powers our team. You will be the custodian of our value driven culture that reflects the organisations mission ensuring psychological safety, high performance, and operational excellence co-exist.Key Responsibilities1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding - Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: writing JDs, sourcing candidates, and coordinating interviews for roles ranging from freshers to senior leads.- Structure the /"First 90 Days/": Design and execute a seamless onboarding program that integrates new hires into Udaitis culture, systems, and projects rapidly.- Work closely with the organization leadership to assess current organizational structures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and agility.2. HR Operations & Process Excellence - Implement and manage HR processes that promote a high-performance, value-driven culture- Oversee the performance management cycle end-to-end.- Maintain accurate employee data, HR records and statutory compliances.- Standardize on-boarding, exit, payroll coordination, and organizational policy implementation.- Ensure all HR policies (POSH, Remote Work, Travel) are up-to-date, legally compliant, and clearly communicated.- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and policy guidance.3. Performance & Development - Conduct goal setting exercises for all employees. Identify areas of improvement at work, support the organization members to create concrete career development plans ensuring continuous learning and professional growth.- Ensure quarterly reviews on these goals and career development plans.- Coordinate for learning and development programs aligned with institutional priorities.- Drive internal communication and engagement by designing and implementing activities, retreats, etc.- Design and implement recognition initiatives.4. 360-degree Feedback - Conduct quarterly 360-degree feedback surveys with employees, interpret the analyzed data and record areas of improvement.- Translate feedback outcomes into actionable organisational improvement plans and track progress on identified focus areas through subsequent quarterly surveys.5. Competency Matrix Model- Use a competency matrix for all employees and identify skill gaps, if any, for different roles.- Identify skills that existing employees possess as well those who need any upskilling.- Assist in succession planning in order to find employees that have the required skills and competencies to fill in a role in the organization.- Develop targeted training that will assist in upskilling employees, preparing them for new or existing roles in the firm.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a startup, consulting firm, or social impact organization.Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance.Excellent written and verbal communication skills (you will draft policies and emails to the whole team).MBA in HR or equivalent experience is a plus, but not mandatory.Why Join Us?Impact: Work at the center of Indias gender equity movement.Growth: This is a role with high autonomy.
