the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, amortization, depreciation, and reclassifications Ensure timely and accurate close in accordance with established close calendars Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial recordsU.S. GAAP Financial Reporting Prepare and support U.S. GAAP–compliant financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) Ensure proper period recognition of revenue and expenses Support preparation of management and external reporting packagesAccrual Accounting & Cash-to-Accrual Conversion Record and maintain accrued expenses, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and other accrual-based entries Assist in or independently perform conversion of cash-basis financials to accrual-basis financials Maintain roll-forward schedules for accrual-related accounts Ensure accurate cutoff and matching of revenues and expensesAccount Reconciliations Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items Support or manage inter-company / brother-company reconciliations Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actionsAccounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (AR/AP) Support AR and AP processes including invoicing, collections support, vendor payments, and reconciliations Reconcile AR and AP subledgers to the general ledger Monitor aging reports and assist in resolving outstanding balances Ensure accurate cutoff and period-end recognitionFixed Assets Maintain fixed asset schedules entries, reconciliations, and schedules prepared by junior staff Ensure balance sheet integrity and month-over-month consistency Resolve complex accounting issues independentlyAdvanced Accruals & Technical Accounting (Senior Level) Own complex accruals, estimates, and judgment-based entries Evaluate accounting treatment under U.S. GAAP Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting Oversee cash-to-accrual conversions for complete financial statementsVariance Analysis & Financial Analysis (Senior Level) Perform month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, and budget vs. actual variance analysis Identify trends, anomalies, and key drivers behind financial results Prepare clear explanations for management and stakeholders Support decision-making through analytical
