About the Role We are seeking a proactive Chartered Accountant (CA) to work closely with the founder on a range of accounting, compliance, and structuring matters.This role will begin on an hourly, project-based basis, supporting specific transactions and setups. Over time, as trust and familiarity build, the role is intended to grow into full ownership of the firm’s CA function.The firm is currently registered in Dehradun, operates primarily out of Gurgaon, has a related entity in Canada, and plans to eventually re‑register and shift its base to Himachal Pradesh (Manali region). You will be closely involved in that transition.This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants real exposure, autonomy, and the chance to grow alongside a founder rather than be confined to repetitive compliance work.Key Responsibilities Business & Corporate Accounting Support Support the registration of a new firm/entity in Himachal Pradesh Assist with: - Entity structuring and registration - PAN, GST, and other statutory registrations - State‑specific compliance requirements (especially Himachal Pradesh) Work on the gradual relocation / re‑registration of the existing firm to Himachal Pradesh Maintain and organize basic accounting systems in a clean, practical, and scalable way Coordinate with lawyers, consultants, and authorities as requiredTransaction & Project Support (Initial Focus) Support property‑related transactions from a financial and compliance perspective, including: - Transaction structuring - Tax implications - Documentation coordination Assist with budgeting, projections, and cost structuring for early‑stage projects Provide practical, founder‑friendly advice rather than overly academic responsesCross‑Border & Structural Exposure Assist in understanding and coordinating India–Canada structuring considerations Work with external advisors where needed, while acting as the internal point of continuityLong‑Term Ownership (As the Role Evolves) Gradually take responsibility for: - Ongoing compliance - Filings and returns - Financial structuring decisions - Acting as the primary CA for the group Shape accounting and compliance systems that actually work for a growing, evolving businessWho We’re Looking For Education & Background Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) Freshly qualified or early‑career CAs are very welcomeProfile Curious, proactive, and comfortable figuring things out Tech‑savvy and open to new tools, systems, and ways of working Clear communicator who can explain things simply Practical, solution‑oriented, and not afraid to take ownership Enjoys working directly with a founder rather than through layers of hierarchyLocation & Context Living and operating within Himachal Pradesh (especially Kullu–Manali) is strongly preferred.
