Job Description

Role Overview Advise customers on suitable travel insurance products issued by UAE-licensed insurers through a UAE-licensed insurance broker Deliver accurate, compliant, and customer-focused insurance advice Ensure high standards of communication, documentation, and service quality Key Responsibilities Understand customer travel requirements including destination, duration, visa needs, age, and coverage expectations Recommend appropriate travel insurance solutions (inbound, outbound, single trip, annual multi-trip) Clearly explain: Policy benefits and coverage limits Exclusions and deductibles Optional add-ons such as adventure sports or cruise cover Ensure accurate policy issuance through approved insurer portals and CRM systems Support customers with: Endorsements, cancellations, refunds, and renewals General guidance on claims procedures in line with insurer guidelines Maintain complete and accurate records for audit, quality, and compliance purposes Product Knowledge & Expertise Proven track record of working with travel insurance products Strong understanding of: Benefits, limits, and exclusions Visa-related insurance requirements (e.g. Schengen, UK, US) Current travel insurance market trends Ability to provide transparent advice and avoid mis-selling Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential Ability to explain insurance concepts clearly and confidently to customers Professional handling of customer queries across phone, email, and messaging channels Customer-centric approach with attention to clarity, tone, and accuracy Role Location & Compliance This is an offshore position, based outside the UAE The role operates under the supervision and authority of the UAE-licensed broker The employee will not act as the licensed insurance entity All policy issuance, premium collection, invoicing, VAT, and insurer agreements remain with the UAE entity No underwriting authority or claims settlement decision-making is involved Experience & Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in travel insurance or general insurance Prior exposure to the UAE insurance market is preferred Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage Familiarity with insurer portals and CRM systems is preferred Performance Assessment - Performance will be measured based on: Quality and accuracy of advice Compliance and audit adherence Customer satisfaction Policy issuance accuracy Contribution to conversion and retention targets This job description may be updated from time to time to reflect business, regulatory, or operational requirements.
