Role OverviewWe are looking for ahands-on Senior Business Analystwith 8–10 years of experience inCommercial Data Warehouse (CDW)and analytics. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders and data engineering teams to define, document, and deliver scalable data solutions that support commercial operations and decision-making.Key Responsibilities Business & Functional Analysis Engage with business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Operations) to gather and analyze requirements. Translate business needs into detailedBRDs, FRDs, user stories, and data requirements . Define KPIs, metrics, business rules, and reporting needs for commercial analytics. Conduct gap analysis and recommend data-driven solutions. Data Warehouse & Analytics Work closely with data engineering teams ondata modeling (dimensional models – fact/dimension) . Definesource-to-target mappings (STTM)and data transformation logic. Support development ofCommercial Data Warehouse (CDW)and data marts. Ensure integration of multiple data sources such as: Sales data (primary/secondary) CRM data Market data Customer / HCP / Territory data Delivery & Testing Support Agile delivery – backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization. Develop and executeUAT test casesand validate data accuracy. Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery. Stakeholder & Communication Act as a bridge between business, data engineering, and reporting teams. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and support change management. Deliver functional walkthroughs, documentation, and user training where required.Required Skills & Experience 8–10 years of experience as aBusiness Analyst , with strong hands-on involvement. Proven experience inCommercial Data Warehouse (CDW) / Enterprise Data Warehouse projects . Strong understanding of: Data warehousing concepts (ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling) Data mapping and data lineage SQL for data analysis and validation Experience working withcommercial datasetssuch as sales, CRM, market data, or customer analytics. Hands-on experience withUAT, data validation, and business rule definition . Strong experience working inAgile/Scrum environments . Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Ability to work independently in aremote, distributed team environment .Preferred Qualifications Experience inLife Sciences / Pharma commercial analytics . Exposure to tools/platforms such asSnowflake, Azure, AWS, Databricks, or Redshift . Experience with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
