Position Overview We’re seeking a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to support the design, administration, and optimization of employee benefits programs in a remote-first environment. You’ll partner with HR, Finance, and vendors to ensure benefits are competitive, compliant, cost-effective, and well-communicated to employees. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, experience in benefits administration, and a service-minded mindset.Key Responsibilities 1. Benefits Administration & Operations Administer employee benefits programs (health insurance, life insurance, accident, wellness, leave policies, gratuity, PF/ESI coordination). Manage enrollments, life events, vendor coordination, and benefits data accuracy in HRIS. Support onboarding/offboarding benefits processes and employee communications. 2. Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements and company policies (PF/ESI coordination, gratuity, maternity benefits). Support audits and documentation for benefits-related compliance. Maintain SOPs and policy documentation for benefits programs. 3. Data Analysis & Reporting Analyze benefits utilization, costs, and trends; provide insights for optimization. Build dashboards and reports using Excel / Power BI. Support annual benefits renewals, benchmarking, and vendor negotiations with data. 4. Employee Experience & Communication Act as a point of contact for benefits-related queries and escalations. Develop benefits guides, FAQs, and communication materials. Partner with HRBP teams to improve benefits awareness and adoption. 5. Process Improvement & Vendor Management Identify opportunities to streamline benefits administration through automation and HRIS integrations. Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers; track SLAs and service quality. Support benefits program launches and enhancements.Required Skills & Experience Core Skills 2–6+ years of experience in benefits administration/HR operations. Knowledge of Indian benefits landscape (insurance, gratuity, leave policies; PF/ESI coordination). Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and HRIS platforms. Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills. High attention to detail and data accuracy. Modern Skills Experience with HRIS integrations and benefits automation. Exposure to benefits benchmarking and cost optimization. Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau for benefits analytics. Experience supporting remote/hybrid workforces. Awareness of data privacy and confidentiality best practices.
