SAP Solution Architect $1000 - $1200 p/d inclusive 6-Month Initial Contract + 12-Month Extension 4 Days On-site (Preston) | 1 Day WFH The Opportunity Are you a heavy-hitting SAP Architect who thrives on large-scale enterprise complexity? We are representing a major industry player based in Preston embarking on a multi-stage enterprise transformation. This role sits at the heart of the transformation, providing the "Design Authority" across S/4HANA migrations, deep integrations, and cross-functional optimisations. The Role Design Authority: Define and document end-to-end SAP solution architecture across FI/CO, MM, SD, and WM/EWM. Integration Excellence: Oversee complex system interoperability between SAP and external platforms (WMS, CRM, eCommerce). Stakeholder Influence: Navigate Executive and Technical layers to provide pragmatic recommendations that balance "Best Practice" vs. "Customization." Governance: Establish architecture standards and conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise principles. Delivery Support: Provide the technical "north star" for project teams during fit-gap, testing (SIT/UAT), and high-stakes cutovers. About You We are looking for a seasoned professional with a "been there, done that" pedigree in large-scale SAP environments. 10+ years of SAP experience with multiple full-lifecycle implementations. Proven track record as a Solution Architect on large-scale programs. Deep expertise in S/4HANA and/or complex migration paths. Strong cross-module knowledge (specifically around Supply Chain and Finance flows). Integration Guru: Hands-on experience with middleware and external system connectivity. Highly regarded: Experience within Retail or Supply Chain  environments. Certifications in TOGAF or SAP Activate . Apply Now!
