Job Overview: We are currently hiring for the position of Airport Ground Staff for fresher's to join our team in Pathankot, Punjab. As an Airport Ground Staff, you will be responsible for assisting with the efficient and safe handling of passengers and their baggage at the airport. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless travel experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters, security checkpoints, and boarding gates - Handle check-in procedures, including issuing boarding passes, checking passports, and collecting baggage fees - Ensure compliance with airline and airport security procedures - Assist passengers with special needs, such as unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and passengers with disabilities - Handle lost and found items and assist with baggage claim procedures - Provide information and assistance to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and cancellations - Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner - Collaborate with other airport staff, including ground crew, cabin crew, and air traffic controllers, to ensure a smooth operation - Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times - Adhere to all safety and security regulations at the airport - Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask - Basic computer skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy baggage if required - Prior experience in the aviation industry is a plus, but not required Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The selected candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The contract will be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
