Company Description A well established business house from Uttrakhand, Dehradun. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Engineer located in Roorkee, Uttrakhand. The Head Engineer will lead engineering operations and maintenance tasks, including set up &resort pre-opening activities, supervising technical staff, ensuring all equipment and systems in the resort are functioning optimally, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, managing budgets for engineering projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards within the resort premises. The role requires a proactive approach to maintaining the high-quality standards of a 5-star resort.Qualifications Strong knowledge of Engineering Systems & Designs, including HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, water systems, and overall infrastructure management. Hands-on experience in Maintenance Management and troubleshooting complex systems. Effective Team Leadership and Project Management skills, with the ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple priorities in a structured manner. Proficiency in Technical Software used for engineering tasks, planning, and diagnostics, with a strong understanding of compliance standards and safety regulations. Excellent Problem-Solving skills, critical thinking, and attention to technical detail. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in engineering or project management are a plus. Minimum 12-15 years of experience working in the hospitality sector, preferably within high-end or luxury hotel settings. Should have worked as a Deputy or Head of Engineering department for minimum 3-5 years.
