K L’s Engineering College KLCE is ranked No.1 by Times of India (TOI) in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and is known for its consistent 100% placement record to all eligible students for the past 14 years.Job Title: Senior Liaison Officer – Government & Statutory ComplianceRole Overview : The Senior Liaison Officer – Government & Statutory Compliance will be responsible for managing all statutory approvals, regulatory compliance requirements, and liaison activities with Government authorities and higher education regulatory bodies. The role ensures seamless coordination for inspections, approvals, renewals, and adherence to statutory norms applicable to the University.Statutory Compliance & Key responsibilities Ensure compliance with all applicable UGC, AICTE, and other regulatory norms. Monitor regulatory deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports, affidavits, and returns. Maintain statutory registers, approvals, and documentation records. Ensure compliance with faculty qualifications, infrastructure norms, and student-faculty ratios. Liaise with Education Department, Revenue Department, Municipal Authorities, Fire Department, Labour Department, and Pollution Control Board. Facilitate land, building, environmental, and statutory clearances. Coordinate preparation for NAAC/NBA accreditation processes. Compile data from Academic, HR, Finance, and Administration departments. Ensure readiness for audits and compliance verification visits. Respond to statutory notices and compliance-related communications. Coordinate with legal counsel in regulatory matters. Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions. Prepare compliance status reports for Management. Develop and maintain a Compliance Calendar. Assist leadership in policy updates as per regulatory amendments.Qualification & Experience Postgraduate degree in Law / Public Administration / Management or related field.
