The candidate will directly manage US-based clients and must possess strong GL accounting expertise, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in transition and international accounting processes.ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end US Accounting / International Accounting processes. Handle General Ledger (GL) and R2R (Record to Report) functions. Write and review general journal entries across different ERP systems. Perform month-end and year-end closing activities. Handle revenue and expense accounting. Ensure compliance with US GAAP. Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and accounting documentation. Manage direct communication with US-based clients and stakeholders. Handle client escalations and ensure SLA adherence. Lead and mentor a small team of 2–3 members. Drive and manage end-to-end transition of accounting processes (Minimum 2–3 transition projects preferred).QualificationsCA Inter CA Finalist CMA Inter / Semi-Qualified CMA MBA – Finance (with relevant US / International exposure)Required Skills7+ years of experience in US / International Accounting. Strong hands-on exposure to GL Accounting and R2R processes. Experience in journal entry writing and month-end closing. US GAAP knowledge – Mandatory. End-to-end transition experience – Mandatory. Experience handling direct US client interactions. Strong English communication skills – Mandatory. Leadership experience managing 2–3 team members.
