Job Description

Join AMPIN Energy's Investment team! The role involves Evaluation of investment opportunities, Coordination with cross-functional teams, support in due diligence process, prepare investment documents for IC discussion, address investor queries, oversee asset performance and other investment related activities. The individual will work at the intersection of Clean Energy Transition with exposure to Solar, Wind, Hybrid, BESS and Green Hydrogen projects. This will be an excellent opportunity to enter the fast growing and evolving Energy Transition sector.How you will contribute:Creating financial models for our solar, wind, hybrid and DG projects Overseeing the diligence process for Greenfield projects as per requirements of Investment Committee Taking the investment opportunities through the Investment Committee approval process Work closely with the Institution Investors to address their queries regarding the investment proposal Monitoring & reporting of KPIs to investors related to their investments regularly. Work closely with the team to identify areas for operational improvement and optimise shareholder returns Preparation of financial documents for presentation to potential and current investors on specific investments - Information Memorandum and Prospectus. Liaising with external parties such as Investment banks, Syndicate Consultants, Investment Consultants, etc. for potential deal flow, M&A, and investment opportunities. Maintaining the efficient capital deployment and phasing of equity investments in the projects to maximize return on invested capital.Ideal skills for this role include:Tier 1 MBA Fresher or 1+ years of relevant experience, candidates with experience in the renewable energy industry and experience in equity transactions are preferred Tier 1 Engineering Institute (IIT/NIT etc.)/CFA Level 2 and above with 2+ years of work experience Ability to work with cross-functional units.
