Location:Pune (On-site by default) Type:Full-time Experience:5+ years Level:Lead Engineer (Group / Multi-team) About Dizzaroo Dizzaroo builds AI-first enterprise software for life sciences and pharma—focused on clinical research workflows, compliant document systems, translational biology/digital pathology, and knowledge platforms. Role Summary We’re hiring Lead Engineers who will work in tandem to lead a group of teams (multiple squads as we scale). You’ll be hands-on technical leaders who have shipped SOC 2–ready (or equivalent control-aligned) SaaS and can drive consistent delivery while setting high engineering standards.What You’ll DoMulti-team leadership Lead a group of teams: planning, execution, and cross-team dependency management. Set technical direction and delivery cadence; ensure teams ship consistently. Coach tech leads and senior engineers; raise the bar through design reviews and code review standards. Enterprise SaaS platform ownership Drive architecture and implementation for multi-tenant SaaS: tenant isolation patterns, RBAC/ABAC, audit trails, configuration management, and secure data access. Own enterprise readiness features: SSO (SAML/OIDC), provisioning (SCIM) where needed, and integration-friendly APIs. Security & compliance readiness Implement security-by-design: secure SDLC practices, dependency hygiene, secrets management, least-privilege design, threat-aware architecture. Ensure SOC 2-ready operational controls: logging, access management, change management discipline, incident response practices, and evidence-minded workflows. Operational excellence Improve reliability: observability (logs/metrics/traces), alerting, SLOs, incident handling, postmortems, and continuous improvements. Own quality gates: CI/CD, automated testing strategy, release processes, rollback plans, and release risk management. What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)5+ yearsbuilding and shipping SaaS products in production. Proven experience deliveringSOC 2-readysystems (or equivalent security control frameworks), including supporting audit readiness through practical engineering controls. Experience leadingone or more teams(directly or as a group lead), including managing technical priorities and delivery across squads. Strong backend engineering fundamentals (APIs, databases, performance, reliability). Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure), including IAM and secure infrastructure patterns. Strong communication and decision-making: able to align teams quickly and resolve technical disagreements. Strong PlusLife sciences/pharma experience (clinical systems, regulated workflows, quality systems, data governance). SSO/SAML/OIDC, SCIM, encryption/key management, tenant isolation strategies, data retention and audit log design. Familiarity with compliance-adjacent requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11 concepts, GxP validation mindset). Experience with data-intensive systems (analytics pipelines, search, event-driven architectures). Tech Environment (Indicative) Modern SaaS stack with a strong emphasis on security and scalability: API services, relational databases, background jobs/queues CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, observability tooling Secure authN/authZ patterns and audit logging (Exact tools may evolve—comfort across the stack matters more than a specific framework.) Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)Establish engineering operating rhythm across teams: planning cadence, release gating, and design review process. Standardize key platform primitives: RBAC model, audit logging baseline, secure SDLC checklist, observability baseline.
