Black Vector VFX — Now Hiring Prep Leads (Mumbai) Black Ve c tor VFX is launching its new Mumbai studio and building a core founding team for an exciting slate of high-end VFX projects starting end of February. We’re loo king for Senior Prep Artists ready to step into Lead roles — artists who are technically strong, detail-oriented, and passionate about high-quality cosmetic and cleanup work. ⸻ Who We’ reLooking For — Prep Lead (Compositing) This isacontract role reporting directly to the Compositing Supervisor, with responsibilities including: • Review ing work and providing creative and technical feedback to maintain quality and consistency • Delive ring senior-level paint and prep tasks within production deadlines • Strong experience in beauty fixes & de-aging work • Expert ise in face marker removal, wrinkle cleanup, makeup/prosthetic fixes • Advanc ed experience in marker, wire, rig removal, artifact cleanup, and background plate restoration • Abilit y to handle grading, wrapping, morphing, distortion, and complex cleanup workflows • Using mixed techniques to solve challenging wire removals and clean plates • Workin g efficiently both independently and within a team • Troubl eshooting technical and creative challenges and proposing solutions • Taking full ownership of shots and proactively solving production problems ⸻ What Yo uBring We’re see king Senior Roto/Prep Artists ready to take on leadership responsibilities, with: • Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a VFX studio environment • Experi ence delivering photo-real VFX for feature films or episodic content • Expert -level knowledge of Prep, Beauty, and De-Aging workflows • Abilit y to work closely with Compositing & VFX Supervisors to meet aesthetic and technical goals • Strong awareness of schedules, deadlines, and delivery expectations • A posi tive, collaborative, and proactive mindset ⸻ Role De ta ilsLocation: Andheri West, Mumbai (On-site — commute or relocation preferred) Project Start: End of February Work: High-end Feature Film & Episodic VFX ⸻ How to Ap plySend your reel/portfolio + CV to Subject L ine: Prep Lead — Black Vector VFX
