Job Summary We are seeking a transformative and execution-driven leader to serve as Leader of Data & AI Engineering. This role will oversee a multidisciplinary team of ~50 professionals, including data engineers, analysts, enterprise BI developers, and AI/ML engineers. The Leader will be responsible for driving innovation, operational excellence, and strategic alignment across data platforms, analytics capabilities, and AI/ML initiatives. This leader will play a pivotal role in modernizing our data ecosystem, enabling scalable AI solutions, and delivering business value through data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across data engineering, analytics, BI, and AI/ML. Translate enterprise data and AI strategy into actionable roadmaps for the Hyderabad team. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Data Engineering & Analytics Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance data pipelines. Drive modernization of legacy data systems using cloud-native technologies (AWS, Snowflake, dbt). Ensure robust metadata management and data quality practices across platforms. Enterprise BI Development Lead the development and optimization of enterprise BI solutions using tools like Tableau and Power BI. Partner with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and self-service analytics capabilities. Ensure semantic layer integration and data portal usability for business users. AI/ML Engineering Collaborate with AI engineering teams to build and maintain AI-ready data pipelines. Support development of knowledge graphs, model lifecycle automation, and agentic AI capabilities. Ensure integration with AI gateways and APIs for seamless deployment of models. MUSThave experience delivering AI agentic and GenAI solutions in production at scale. MUSThave experience in the establishment and delivery of knowledge graph for AI consumption of enterprise data assets. Governance, Compliance & Security Embed data governance, privacy, and compliance standards into engineering workflows. Partner with cybersecurity and enterprise architecture teams to ensure secure data practices. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with product, infrastructure, and business teams to align data and AI initiatives with enterprise goals. Represent the Hyderabad team in global forums and contribute to enterprise-wide transformation efforts. Qualifications Experience 12+ years in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML, with 5+ years in leadership roles. Education Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Master’s preferred. Technical Skills Cloud: AWS (required), Azure/GCP (preferred) Data: Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Python, SQL BI: Tableau, Power BI AI/ML: ML Ops, CICD, APIs, agentic platforms
