Job Description-CP – Channel AssociateJob Title: CP – Channel Associate (Study Abroad) Company: upGrad Location: Mumbai (Marol) Working Days: Monday to Saturday ⏰ Timings: 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM Experience Required: Minimum 2+ years in EdTech (Channel Partnering & Sales)Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented CP – Channel Associate to drive enrolments through our Channel Partner network for Study Abroad programs. This is a B2B2C field-based role requiring regular partner visits, strong sales acumen, hands-on counselling experience, and data-driven reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the EdTech industry, specifically in channel sales, partner management, and student counselling, with a proven track record of achieving targets and managing performance data through advanced Excel and presentations.Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage relationships with Channel Partners (CPs) to drive student enrolments • Conduct regular field visits to partner locations to generate and close leads • Deliver student counselling sessions for Study Abroad programs • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through partner channels • Train and support Channel Partners on product offerings and sales processes • Prepare performance reports, revenue trackers, and MIS using Advanced Excel • Create impactful PPT presentations for partner meetings, reviews, and product training sessions • Track pipeline, follow-ups, and conversions to ensure revenue growth • Coordinate with internal admissions and operations teams for smooth enrolment processing • Identify and onboard new Channel Partners to expand business reach✅ Required Skills & Experience • Minimum 2+ years of experience in EdTech, specifically in channel partnering and sales • Strong understanding of B2B2C sales model • Prior experience in Study Abroad counselling • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, data analysis) – Mandatory • Strong PPT creation and presentation skills – Mandatory • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills • Comfortable with field sales and frequent travel • Strong follow-up and closing skills • Professional appearance and confident personality • Self-motivated, performance-driven, and target-oriented mindsetPreferred Qualifications • Experience in Study Abroad or International Education programs • Exposure to CRM tools and lead management systems • Ability to conduct partner training and product presentations
