Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Project Head – Electrical EPCLocation: MumbaiIndustry: Electrical EPC / Power InfrastructureAbout the CompanyWe are a fast-growing electrical EPC company specializing in power sector projects, with a strong focus on execution excellence, safety, and timely delivery. As we scale operations and undertake larger, high-value projects, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Operating Officer to lead project execution and operational strategy.The COO will be responsible for end-to-end operational leadership, ensuring efficient execution of multiple high-value EPC projects. This role demands strong technical expertise, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to navigate government processes while managing on-ground challenges.Key Responsibilities • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple project sites. • Ensure timely execution of projects within budget while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. • Manage site teams, contractors, and vendors to drive productivity and accountability. • Handle local site issues proactively, including regulatory, logistical, and stakeholder-related challenges. • Liaise with government departments, utilities, and regulatory authorities for approvals, inspections, and compliance. • Establish strong documentation processes and ensure contractual adherence. • Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance project delivery timelines. • Monitor project risks and implement mitigation plans. • Provide leadership to engineering, procurement, and project teams, fostering a performance-driven culture. • Report directly to the management and contribute to strategic decision- making.Candidate Profile • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering (preferred). A postgraduate qualification in management is a plus. • Experience: 15–20+ years in EPC/project execution, with a proven track record of handling large-scale, high-value infrastructure or power projects. • Age Preference: Ideally 40–45 years; strong younger candidates with exceptional experience will also be considered.
