We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamicSenior Field Quality professionalfrom the EPC domain, preferably with experience in the water sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of infrastructure projects and demonstrate strong technical expertise in quality management. This role requires a visionary leader with a solid technical background and a proven track record of delivering high-quality outcomes in complex project environments. The position demands a detail-oriented and experienced individual capable of managing quality across large construction projects while ensuring strict compliance with all applicable standards and procedures. If you are a strong leader with extensive knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant construction, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure development.Position Title:Lead Field QualityKey Responsibilities:Quality Control Management: Develop and implement the quality assurance and control procedures for the construction of the water treatment plant. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international standards for construction and water treatment processes. Conduct regular site inspections to assess adherence to quality standards and specifications. Oversee the testing and commissioning of construction works, ensuring that all components meet quality requirements.Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead and manage a team of quality control engineers, field inspectors, and other support staff. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the field quality team to ensure they adhere to quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues and ensure timely deliveries.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and review all quality-related documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and test results. Generate regular quality performance reports for senior management, highlighting any quality issues or risks. Ensure the accurate and timely submission of quality documentation to regulatory bodies and stakeholders.Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks during the construction phase and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any issues related to construction quality, including corrective actions for defective work. Track and analyze quality data to identify trends and implement improvements.Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout the project lifecycle. Liaise with regulatory authorities and third-party inspectors to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Quality Audits and Inspections: Perform or oversee periodic audits and inspections of construction activities and materials to ensure they meet required specifications. Conduct final inspections and testing before plant handover to confirm the water treatment plant is ready for operation.Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in quality management processes across the project. Drive the adoption of new technologies and techniques for improving construction quality.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Relevant certifications in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma). Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality management within the construction industry, specifically in water treatment plant projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment used in water treatment plants. Proficient in quality management systems and field inspection techniques. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Skills & Competencies: Attention to Detail:Ability to spot errors or issues in construction quality and recommend corrective measures. Leadership:Experience in leading and mentoring teams, with strong interpersonal skills. Technical Expertise:Deep understanding of water treatment processes, plant design, and construction methods. Problem-Solving:Proactive approach to identifying quality issues and finding solutions. Communication:Ability to clearly communicate quality issues, solutions, and progress reports to both internal teams and external stakeholders. Regulatory Knowledge:Familiarity with local, national, and international construction codes, environmental regulations, and water treatment standards.Work Environment: Location:HO. Travel:Minimum 15 days may be required between different sites or to meet with external stakeholders. Work Hours:Typically regular working hours, but flexibility may be required due to project deadlines.
