Willingness to travel/engage with clients (onsite/remote) across geographies.Job Description: You will be a senior presales/ solution design professional reporting to Head of Solution design for S&P practice. As a solution architect, you will be leading large and complex pursuit opportunities (RFPs, RFI, other proposals) for procurement outsourcing and managed services spanning sourcing, PO operations, Spend optimization, category management, Tail spend and digital procurement transformation including Gen AI based use cases. You will be anchoring/building compelling, competitive and differentiated proposals for large global clients You will partner with sales and pricing teams, engagement leads in various geos, delivery leadership, transition and technology teams including collaboration with client to develop solution win themes and documents along with pricing inputs.Required Experience • 15+ years (ideally 18-20+ years) of experience in sourcing & procurement (source-to-pay cycle, category management, tail spend, supplier management, procurement transformation) in large enterpriseenvironments or consulting/outsourcing services. • Demonstrated experience in pre-sales or solutioning for procurement or supply-chain outsourcing services (preferably within a BPM/outsourcing environment). • Strong domain expertise in procurement: large‐scale spend management, indirect/direct sourcing, supplier segmentation, contract management, procurement analytics, operating-model design. • Proven track record of developing high-value proposals (multi-million USD/Euro) in procurement outsourcing, digital procurement, transformation engagements. • Solid consulting skills: client-facing, ability to lead workshops, structure problems, develop hypotheses, create slide-ware, present to senior executives (CPO, CFO, GBS leads). • Good understanding of digital procurement technologies: spend analytics, sourcing platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa), Gen-AI, process automation (RPA/Intelligent Automation), category digital cockpit. • Excellent business acumen: you understand how procurement ties to business value (cost savings, risk mitigation, supplier innovation, sustainability). • Strong leadership, team‐work, mentoring skills, comfortable working in global delivery model, multi- location, virtual teams. • Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation skills, ability to influence senior stakeholders.Roles & Responsbilities - • Lead pre-sales engagements for S&P services: identify opportunities, shape the business case, define solution strategies, articulate value-proposition (cost reduction, operational excellence, risk reduction, category optimisation, tail-spend management). • Work closely with client C-suite (CPO, VP Procurement, Head Sourcing, etc.) to understand their sourcing, contracting, supplier management, risk, category, analytics, digital transformation needs. Leverage qualitative insights + quantitative spend analytics. • Collaborate with internal domain teams (category experts, Centre of excellence, analytics, Gen-AI, automation) to build end-to-end solution offerings (e.g., Category Navigator, Marketplace for Tail Spend, Global Capability Centre enablement). • Develop proposal artefacts: solution design, operating model, transition strategy, location/ delivery model, risk mitigation, transformation roadmap, business case (ROI, savings, KPIs). • Participate in RFP/RFI process: respond to client queries, create appendices, lead workshops/ discovery sessions, facilitate demos (proof-of-concept) of digital/AI/analytics procurement solutions. • Estimation of resource effort by application of various internal and external benchmarks and experience, provision of pricing inputs to deal pricing teams. • Maintain and evolve a library of solution assets, case-studies, personas, pricing frameworks, benchmarks in S&P domain. • Act as thought-leader in S&P: publish POVs, participate in client workshops, drive internal knowledge- sharing (e.g., category council governance, digital procurement trends, Gen-AI use-cases). • Mentor junior solution consultants/analysts, lead proposal teams, ensure quality of deliverables, client- readiness of proposals. • Support sales closure: attend executive briefings, negotiate solution scope, support contract development with S&P service delivery leads. • Keep abreast of market trends in procurement-outsourcing, indirect/direct spend, category management, supplier-ecosystem, digital procurement platforms, automation/analytics, Gen-AI in procurement. • Conducting Spend data analysis and estimating sourcing, transaction and compliance level savings based on benchmarks, heuristics and guidance from experts within the team • Take up short term on-site/ Offshore projects as a consultant as and when required.
