SEO / SEM / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) Specialist (Internal + Client-Facing Services) Full-Time | India with U.S. overlap hours | Immediate Joiner (Preferred) | ChennaiAbout the Role Leverage CXO’s service offerings, ICP, and go-to-market priorities to improve search visibility and demand generation across the U.S. market through SEO, SEM (PPC), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Work closely with content, BD/marketing, and leadership to build repeatable search growth programs for CXO internally & and support client projects through audits, roadmaps, execution, and performance reporting as part of CXO’s SEO/SEM/GEO services.What the SEO / SEM / GEO Specialist will do Own SEO strategy and execution across technical SEO, on-page optimization, internal linking, schema, and content refreshes aligned to CXO’s services and target keywords. Conduct keyword research, topic clustering, and intent mapping to guide CXO’s content strategy, landing pages, and service page priorities. Partner with the Content Writer to produce SEO briefs and optimize content for ranking and conversion. Identify and prioritize technical SEO improvements (crawlability/indexing, site performance, redirects, canonicalization) and coordinate fixes with the right stakeholders. Plan, launch, and optimize SEM campaigns (Google Ads and/or Bing Ads): campaign structure, ad copy testing, budget pacing, landing page alignment, and conversion tracking. Build GEO practices to improve visibility in AI-driven discovery (LLM search, generative answers) by optimizing content structure for extraction: entity clarity, structured answers, FAQs, schema, and citation-ready formatting. Maintain dashboards and reporting for SEO/SEM/GEO performance, turning insights into a prioritized backlog and ongoing improvement cadence. Support client-facing SEO/SEM/GEO engagements (as needed): audits, keyword strategies, technical backlogs, PPC builds, optimization execution, and performance summaries tied to business outcomes.What success looks like (KPIs) SEO: month-over-month growth in qualified organic traffic and improved rankings for priority service/platform keywords (baseline established in first 30-45 days). SEM: stable or improving CPA and conversion rate with ongoing improvement in CTR and landing page performance (targets set after baseline). GEO: publish and optimize 2-4 “generative-ready” pages/month (service pages, platform pages, comparisons, FAQs) designed for AI extraction and track improvements in discovery signals over time. Support 2-4 campaign launches/month with search strategy, landing page alignment, and measurement (SEO + SEM + GEO). Deliver 1 SEO audit/roadmap per month for CXO internally (or a supported client account, as needed), with a prioritized backlog and measurable impact. Maintain a rolling 4-week optimization plan (SEO/SEM/GEO) with weekly reporting on key movements and next actions.What we’re looking for 3-6+ years of experience in SEO and/or performance marketing roles (B2B services, consulting, SaaS, MarTech, DXP/CMS/commerce, or agency preferred). Strong hands-on capability in technical SEO and on-page optimization, plus experience partnering with writers/SMEs on content strategy. Experience running and optimizing PPC campaigns (Google Ads preferred; Bing Ads optional), including conversion tracking and landing page alignment. Working knowledge of GEO concepts (or strong ability to ramp quickly): entity clarity, schema, structured content, FAQ patterns, and formatting content for generative summarization and citation. Strong analytical skills and comfort turning data into actions and priorities (not just reporting).
