Responsible for setting industry-leading standards for electrical design, building world-class design organization, and ensuring CtrlS maintains position as Asia's premier Tier-4 datacenter operator. Acts as C-suite advisor on electrical infrastructure strategy and technical innovation. Requirements & Responsibilities • Developing and executing strategic vision for electrical design discipline • Leading organizational design excellence across CtrlS datacenter portfolio • Setting electrical design standards aligned with TIA-942, Uptime and beyond • Directing senior management team and building high-performing design organization • Overseeing electrical design for all project categories and geographies • Managing significant design budget and resource allocation • Supporting board-level discussions on infrastructure strategy and investments • Building strategic partnerships with industry leaders and technology partners • Driving innovation in electrical design and emerging technologies • Mentoring C-suite talent and developing future design leaders • Implementing enterprise-wide design excellence initiatives • Reporting directly to Chief Technical Officer on design performance • Supporting M&A and business expansion with technical strategy • Representing CtrlS in industry forums and thought leadership Education & Experience Credentials • B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline • 15+ years of experience in electrical design, project leadership and datacenter operations • 5+ years of proven director or VP-level leadership experience • Demonstrated success building and scaling design organizations • Mastery of TIA-942, Uptime and all international standards • Advanced expertise across all electrical design tools and emerging technologies • Strong strategic business acumen and C-suite experience • Excellent executive communication and board presentation skills • Proven track record of organizational transformation and talent development SCHNABEL DC CONSULTANTS INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED December 11, 2023 2 JOB DESCRIPTION AVP - Designs (Electrical) Competencies • World-class electrical design and infrastructure expertise • Executive-level strategic leadership capabilities • Strong business and financial acumen • Organizational development and talent scaling expertise • Data-driven strategic decision-making at enterprise level • Influencer status and thought leadership in industry • Ability to lead, inspire and develop senior leadership teams • Problem-solving at strategic and transformational level • Change management and organizational excellence expertise • Vision setting and strategic execution capabilities
