Position Description: The Documentum Engineer position will develop and maintain the Enterprise Document Management System (EDMS) infrastructure, built upon OpenText Documentum. The right individual will need to be both a visionary for future projects and growth as well as be able to manage and support the day-to-day operations of the EDMS service. The position would require skills in administration, development, analysis, architecture and some project management. Specialized training for Documentum will be provided. • Thorough understanding of Java application server framework • Experience administrating Java J2EE application servers (ie WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.) • Experience administrating Windows operating systems • Experience administrating Linux/UNIX operating systems (i.e. shell scripting) • Experience with Containers, OpenShift, Tekton, Jenkins, Docker • Experience translating business requirements into solution design specifications • Ability to develop comprehensive product test plans, including release management and source code management • Excellent organizational, documentation, communication and presentation skills (client facing and technical) • Desire to work toward becoming a subject matter expert in a particular area • Must be self-motivated and a problem solver • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical degree Skills Required: Document Management Systems Skills Preferred: Java, API Experience Required: Engineer 2 Exp.: Practitioner: 1 coding language or framework. 4 to 6 years in IT; 2+ years in development Mandatory Experience: • Experience in handling Documentum Management Servers such as Content Server, Xplore, CTS, Webtop Servers and DQL. • Understanding of Java application server framework. • Familiarity with administrating Java J2EE application servers (WebSphere, Tomcat, WebLogic, etc.). • Experience in Linux/UNIX operating systems (i.e., shell scripting) administration.
