Job Description

The Senior Manager is a key role responsible for the leadership of multiple areas of the finance function, including financial planning & analysis, financial control, accounting, tax, treasury, accounts payable/receivable, and credit & collections. Leads analysis, planning, and control of the organisations financial transactions, systems, and procedures to comply with regulations, accounting principles, and other internal/external financial standards. Establishes and implements strategies that have short to mid-term (1-3 years) impact on business results in alignment with organisational objectives. Leads multiple teams of managers and Staff. Develops short to mid-term (1-3 years) plans for optimising the organisation, function, or sub-function and the talent required to execute strategies in the job area.2. Key Accountabilities: Team management Coordination of all the activities and giving guidance to all the staff in the day-to-day Internal Controlling, Finance and Accounting activities Review and alignment of work activities among the team members to develop multiskilling and back-up support. Compliance / Accounting standard /Treasury/TaxationIn-depth knowledge of Indian Accounting standard, IFRS and application in business scenario Filing of TDS, GST, Income Tax return, Preparations for various tax assessment, Identification of potential future Tax issues & Resolution. Handling all the day to day treasury activities, including cash and debt management, analysis FX exposure of the company and Treasury hedging solution Support manufacturing and sourcing on commodity price hedging solutions. Working CapitalEffectively manage the working capital components of the company with specific attention to stock, debtors and cash balances.Ensure monthly reconciliation of inventory, debtors and cash balances and follow up for optimisation of working capital. Drive working capital reduction with the help of functional leaders and Business controllers can improve the inventory cycle time, Vendor payment terms and quarterly reviewing the credit terms, Collection from customers and quarterly reviewing the credit limit.Monthly Reporting and book closure: Monthly closing of book for expenses, revenue, assets and liabilities for accurate MIS reporting Monthly Financial KPI. Strong focus on Internal Financial control. Drive Process improvement in area like Monthly Financial KPI. Strong focus on Internal Financial control. Drive Process improvement in area like o Customer ordering to cash (C2C) o Purchase to pay (P2P) o Product return/warranty o inventory planning & supply chain and other business processes.Audits and Interpersonal Co-ordination: Work effectively with CFT and within the Finance organisation for Effective Audits, Compliance with our policies, Financial closing, Treasury Reporting, Variance reporting and forecasting reportsAccounting package: Hands-on experience of accounting entries and finalisation of accounts in SAP Compliance Ensuring the integrity of the governance framework Efficient administration of a company Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements required by India Laws Be the representative of the company in communication with law firms. and government bodies on any legal cases related to the company.Key Working Relationships & Contacts Managing the finance/ accounts team daily Reporting to and working with the Senior Executive Reporting to the Director and the Management Committee Liaison with internal stakeholders - Operations - Human Resource - Sales and Marketing - Engineering - Management Liaison with external Stakeholders - Customer - Banks, Taxation, Auditors - Local authorities, Government authorities - Universities - Business and commerce support networks - PressWorking Environment/Special Circumstances This role will require some travelling, some weekend work and limited travel Job Boundaries: The role holder will be expected to promote and adhere to the Renata MechatronicsPolicies and procedures.
