Job Title:Senior Desktop Engineer Location:Andheri Office Department:IT Infra Reporting To:Infra IT LeadKey Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals Provide L1/L2 technical support to end users Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues Install and configure Windows OS (Windows 10/11) Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Office 365 • Provide advanced (L2/L3) troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and network issues. • Laptop and Desktop deployment, migration, and upgrades. • OS upgrades, patch management, and security hardening. • Manage Windows 10/11 • Administer Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policies. • Manage endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, ManageEngine, etc.). • Monitor endpoint security (antivirus, EDR, DLP solutions). • Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty management, and escalations. • Maintain asset lifecycle management (procurement to disposal). • Support audit activities and provide required documentation. • Create SOPs and process documentation. • Manage endpoint encryption and data protection policies. • Coordinate with network, server, cloud, and security teams. • Ensure SLA adherence and user satisfaction. NAS server (storage)management Required Technical Skills • Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, and Group Policy. • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN). • Experience with MDM, device compliance, and conditional access policies. • Experience with security tools such as DLP, BitLocker. Educational Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in IT / Computer Science / Electronics or related field. • Preferred Certifications: o Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator / Endpoint Administrator o ITIL Foundation o CompTIA A+ / Network+ o Azure Administrator (AZ-104) – PreferredExperience • 2–3 years of experience in enterprise desktop support.
