The responsibilities include managing financial accounts, preparing tax filings, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves financial analysis, budgeting, and supporting the company's financial decision-making through accurate reporting and advisory. The CA and Accountant will also provide integral support to EcoRatings’ sustainability-driven accounting and carbon credit management processes.Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactiveIntermediate CA (IPCC/Inter Qualified)professional to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and supporting audits while ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Manage day-to-day accounting entries and journal postings Maintain General Ledger, Debtors & Creditors reconciliation Bank reconciliation and cash flow tracking Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions GST & Taxation Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) GST reconciliation (GSTR-2A/2B) TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing Handling statutory compliances and notices Financial Reporting Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements MIS reporting and variance analysis Preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements Audit & Compliance Assist in statutory and internal audits Ensure compliance with Companies Act and applicable regulations Maintain documentation for financial records and compliance Process Improvement Support automation of finance processes Improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy Eligibility Criteria CA Intermediate (IPCC/Inter) qualified 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards and taxation Experience in handling GST, TDS, and statutory filingsTechnical Skills Proficiency in Tally (ERP 9 / Tally Prime) Strong command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) Working knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems Familiarity with compliance portals (GST, Income Tax) Key Competencies Strong analytical and numerical skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Good communication and coordination skills High ethical standards and confidentialityQualifications Expertise in Accounting and Financial Reporting Strong knowledge of Taxation and Compliance processes Skills in Auditing, Budgeting, and Financial Analysis Proficiency in using accounting software and financial modeling tools Analytical thinking with an ability to work collaboratively within financial and cross-functional teams Understanding of sustainability-related financial reporting is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent, with CA certification required Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presentationsWhy Join EcoRatings?
